Em Roll, MA, LLPC

Em’s counseling style is flexible, creative, and tailored to your needs. They strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can expand their self-awareness and discover new ways to engage with their world and their emotions. “Life is inherently unpredictable,” they say. “We’ll work on developing a tolerance for uncertainty instead of resisting it.  We can explore spontaneity and embodied processing, and how to navigate chaos with resilience and humor.”

They encourage a collaborative exploration of thoughts, feelings and behaviors without judgment.  “If you are open to it, we can incorporate elements of drama therapy which experiments with different roles and scenarios, offering new perspectives and coping strategies for life's challenges.”

Em will partner with you to set therapeutic goals based on your needs as they evolve. This ensures that your work together remains relevant and impactful. “As a highly sensitive person myself, I understand the importance of feeling comfortable enough to be able to express yourself. If you're curious to learn more or want to discuss how we can work together, please don't hesitate to get in touch.”

Em has a Master’s in Drama Therapy from Concordia University in Montreal, QC and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.
