Sreyashi has a deep commitment to serve her clients with compassion. She strives to help them build up their strengths and innate wisdom to overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives. “The healing and wellness journey begins in the safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space of therapy,” she says. “Together, we not only address the symptoms but go deeper within to heal.” To this end, she focuses on trauma, grief and attachment in therapy.
Sreyashi supports her clients facing challenges in a range of contexts and life situations such as career and academic stress; work-life balance; relationships; cultural adjustment; immigrant family/assimilation/inter-generational issues; life stages of starting careers, empty-nesting, or retirement; and finding meaning and purpose in life.
As an immigrant woman of South Asian/Indian origin, she brings a strong, culturally-sensitive perspective to her work. (She speaks Hindi, Bengali, and Urdu). Sreyashi obtained her Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan, in addition to a prior Masters degree in Economics and an MBA.
